yea i was a bit reluctant to even see it but kinda happy i did, as i thought the plot was completely different from what it actually was.
The thing I love, and loathe, about Cameron movies is that the grandeur of his films almost always surpass the actually written content. I've never considered him a master at writing dialog. But what he is a master at is putting something very very awesome up on the screen. I liked Avatar. Which is to say I liked it as much as any Cameron film. But, technical feats aside, it is neither the best sci-fi film nor the best Cameron film.
