i was playing the god of war demo for the psp as i know many fellow vg er's were checking out the last couple days. i played thru the demo a couple times. i started to crave that play style. so i went to the store and ended up picking up heavenly sword. after all this was dubbed by many as goddess of war. it was that or reply the ps2 versions of gow. so i started to play it and the story is and cut scenes are very good. i am impressed about how it is more of me playing a movie then a game. ...
...and **** that ****ing game. I've been waiting for months, reading the good reviews it got and it's ****. Inexcusable lag, wank controls, needlessly ****ty menus, laughably poor single player and more. I'm having trouble thinking of good things to say. When I've calmed down I'll edit. Thanks for telling me it rocked rothbart! Not. ****ing. Happy.
Ok here is my new update. Today I got the special resume paper, ink, messenger bag, a business card holder, Resume folders (high society style), and the camera. I got the camera charged up and ready to go. Yet I feel like I am going there half-assed. Did I need to make cover letters to with my resumes? Did I need to have a work portfolio ( I made one any way just in case)? Are the jobs there going to be ones that I am qualified for? Most of the game companies have advertised ...
Well at lot has happen since my first blog. Over at the SONY blog site, Jeff Rubenstein is saving me a "In-Shirt XMB" t-shirt. I said on the blog comments that I was going to attend GDC '08 and to save me a shirt. To my suprised, he agreed. Then comedy. When I read this reply, I did the "I GOT A NINTENDO 64 Kid" reaction.
