Well if anyone saw the WiiU show today they would know now that it seems Capcom has abandoned Sony completely as they announced Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for both the 3DS and WiiU. Being a hardcore Monster Hunter fan for years and people screaming at the capcom unity forums have fallen on deaf ears and im sick of this I have lost all intrest in Capcom all together as not only MH3U is going to nintendo consoles but Monster Hunter 4 is going to be a Nintendo game.

Screw this.

I have no money to buy a 3DS or a WiiU to play this game and with it coming out March 2013 I could care less since if the Incan and Mayans are correct the world ends in December anyways.

Goodbye Monster Hunter on Sony Consoles... Been nice knowing you.

Ok, I would of gotten alot of games this week unfortunally my alternator in my car died and that cost me about $300 to get repaired now my breaks are acting up so there more money into my car.... go figure...

Well if my PS2 collecting was not enough this past week I found my old Gamecube and N64 which was surprising since I thought for some reason I lost both but after a few hours searching I found all the hookups and power cords for both systems however the shocking thing was my N64 had the memory Expansion in it and I also found my old jumper pack as well, also one aftermarket N64 controller as well as a old memory card for my n64 as for my gamecube I use to have a wavebird controller but when I grabbed it, all the connections in the battery port were ruined which sucked however I remembered a backup wavebird I got from goodwill awhile back I tested it out all the buttons worked but the analog stick would register up and down but left and right did not work... what a bummer.

Most of the games I am going to try and get are ones I use to play but there are some that I never got in the old days when the N64 was fresh so finding some games will be hard but there is always Ebay just incase or maybe calling out to some of the Retroids members to see if they have some games there not playing anymore or, don't have the systems anymore it may be a ways off but for now, I can just keep it in mind for now.

Well due to just having a PS3 and PS2 for gaming I looked at my PS2 collection and saw that it is a bit lacking even though I have the whole .hack//infection, Xenosaga,Prince of Persia,Kingdom Hearts,GTA,and all the Final Fantasy Series games that were released on the console I figured since PS2 games are going for a good price I decided to grab some at some local thrift stores and Gamestop to see if I can expand my collection and get some awesome games for cheap.

So far my travels on the weekends have netted 12 games so far, granted some may not be the greatest titles but for the price I got for most of them well, Im not gonna complain.

Why does Steam do this to me every year it's about this time were all spending money for loved ones, but it seems every year they keep leeching my money for all the good deals they have had this year

Super Meat Boy well I heard about this game for awhile it's pure platforming awesomeness.

Titan Quest is one of the Diablo style clones and honestly it runs pretty well and for the price for 2 games well worth the money

Recettear is one of those games that I looked at and almost fell in love with it but then again it reminded me on how much it also reminded me of Alatier Rorona (pardon the Spelling) your running a item shop you have to make so much money to payoff a loan. looks kinda cheesy but after awhile you do get into the groove however the amount you owe each week gets a little silly after week 3 so you definally have to get on the ball to earn that much, kinda annoys me a little but none the less some people will enjoy it

Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising is a FPS which I got plenty on here have not played it yet but hope to soon enough

Before I fell in love with Burnout Paradise there was a little series called Flatout, this game had all the raceing and crashes you could handle also mini games that simply you needed to eject your driver out of the car as the projectile, love it... and still do at times

Now Red Faction has been an intresting series for me since the first one on the PC and today it's still going and im definally looking forward to plunging into the 3rd installment as soon as I can download it

I do enjoy the christmas season but at times I wish steam wouldnt drain my money out my wallet like it has and theres still more days to go before new years... hopefully I can get past the next week without killing my wallet more that is until the next huge deal comes tomorrow.... I hope not, so heres to a Merry christmas and a happy new year to all

I have been a huge fan of Neo Geo for years but due to my small pockets I could never afford the system let alone the games for it, when I saw that the NeoGeo Station was coming for PS3 and PSP I was excited.... up until the point when I saw what the games were gonna cost 8.99 for PS3 and 6.99 for PSP.... im sorry but SNK you guys are great dont get me wrong but I can find much better stuff to buy for 8.99 on the PSN if it was 8.99 for the first pack of releases that would sound more reasonable but PER GAME?!?!?!?

Let me break this down to basic facts it will cost you 17.98 for two games and most of those do have replayability but not much I can find out some games for $15 and Under that would give you more replayability

Next time guys make a bundle and make a more reasonable price.... cause this dont make me want to buy those games at all.

Well a couple posts ago I was complaining about Record Of Agerest War, Well maybe I spoke too soon since I spent the $45 on the 9gig beast... One point, the battle system works it is a grid based combat system that I think works well and makes you think on your feet also it has a system in it that you can play your character as a good, bad or neutral character, I have not had any major points where I have seen this change at all, so I cant speak on that much. The Storyline is pretty nice but I havent gotten too far in it to make any strong opinion either way

Now the bad points... the leveling system from Cross Edge is present in this game as well, and my opinion, I hated it... it felt like just more stuff to do and manage then try to grind your levels in the process, Not only that you got almost the same map and event style in this game it's like they just made a new story and battle system and just left most of the stuff the same, and the two things that REALLY gets me all steamed is well, WAS THERE ANY REASON TO RELEASE THIS TO PSN AND NOT HAVE A DISC FORMAT! I mean 9 gig come on here people some of us have the uber internet connections to download this but I dont, it took me running my PS3 all day to download this beast. and the 2nd thing well... if you caught my last post the DLC well is there any reason to make some of the DLC for this $10 all for just some extra cash TP or CP, no there isnt if you want a good experience just download the free stuff and leave the expensive DLC alone you will be better off.

Now last week NIS America released Trinity Universe, which in some ways has some things that Cross Edge had, BUT all that was the shops. When I popped this into my PS3 I was expecting another Cross Edge clone, to my supprise that was not what I got

Where do I begin, the battle system is back to the normal formula for the basics but you got 3 types of attack Fury,Power,and Magic some characters has strong points. Fury attacks are the faster speed type of attack which consumes less AP (Attack Points) than the others but does less damage, Power is your strength attack High Damage but costs more AP,and then your Magic attacks the more power your characters have in magic the more damage it deals but the AP cost is pretty steep at times. But thats not all sometimes if you hit the right buttons and have enough AP you can use Special moves. The combat system is pretty deep only downside is the Circle button can be used to use items,heal,or Escape... thats right you cant flee from battle without someone in your party using Escape so make sure one of your characters got it equiped or things could get ugly.

Some other things I like are, you dont really have a set goal except for event quests but there are some places depending on what day and time of day it is that come into orbit, some of these you can Anchor so you can go explore, alot of these look rather silly for dungeons but passable, As for some other intresting things the search function has been re-done for a searching tool inside the dungeons to find certain things including hidden treasures, Hunting pools, and numerous other little things, only one simple drawback the search system dont like walls much so if your doing a search some just hit walls and stop, a little annoying but at least they do point you in the right direction so it's not all bad.

Well there has not been anything too nagging yet for this game the Add-ons have just started and most are rather cheaply priced so I am letting this one slide since this experience is alot better than Record Of Agerest War

Oh, and Trinity Universe is $50 it may be a few dollars more but the experience is alot better

So get Trinity Universe fans and enjoy

(I picked up a encode of this with english subtitles Yesterday, and I do plan to get the movie when it gets released stateside there are minor spoilers in this post but nothing to kill the movie itself)

Well Japan just released the 2nd movie in the Rebuild Of Evangelion series and when they mean rebuild they MEAN rebuild, one word of advice if you have seen the TV series all I will say is you can watch the first movie alright but after that wipe any thoughts out of your head about the TV series except for the Angels that appear most are accurate except for the first two that appear in the movie.

Other than that all the rest of the story goes down another path altogether and from what I have seen it looks REALLY good, the story is compelling actually... Askua shows up in this one but we get introduced to two new Eva's in this series that has never been seen before Eva Units 05 and 06. The Angels are fully redone and look even better than they did in the TV series it's amazing

It definally shows how much of an effort there making to release this legendary series for the next generation.

This is a solid buy when it comes to the states but watch the first movie before you watch this one.

No US release is announced yet but for anyone who cant wait the Hong Kong versions come out late june which have English Subtitles Links for the pre-orders are from YesAsia.com it's Blu-Ray only since the DVD version is Region 3, but it's only $40

*Before anyone says another thing I have no gotten this game off PSN but honestly with what has been released im kinda annoyed so heres some venting hate coming*

Now when I heard about this game coming out to the us and also being released by Aksys games the same people who released Blazblue, I was all hyped to get it until I found out it was $44.99 on PSN so I decided to wait until I saw what this game was about but recently, I really dont want to get this game.

One simple reason, Add-ons have been coming out for this game since it's release on PSN, and they havent stopped coming, almost 3-5 a week that gives me a sickening feeling in my stomach, why? one simple reason. Last year NIS America released a game known as Cross Edge, it got low to medium reviews and it's also one of those games thats hard as hell to beat, until the add-on content started to come in 3-5 a week, giving you more items and money.... wait a sec am I seeing a pattern here?

Thats right folks Record of Agerest War is suffering from Cross Edge Syndrome, which is a hard as hell game toned down to a joke of a game based off 50+ addons and it gets worse you got to pay for some of em now.

No offense but if there going to do this kind of mess they should add it to the game itself as content they can download when they purchase the game or choose not to NOT CHARGE $3-5 for addons for impatient jerks who dont want to spend the time grinding!

Now the end result of this for Cross Edge is that I beat the game on the True Ending on the first playthrough, which I think is lame as hell, the only things that will save this game is...

A. An Enjoyable experience

B. Monsters not too difficult

C. STOP RELEASING ADD-ONS SO QUICKLY!

Anyone else seem a little annoyed with this cause I sure am...

21 Hours 32 Minutes, thats what it took me to beat White Knight Chronicles, and honestly the game just rubs me the wrong way and where do I begin.

Lets start with the battle system sure it has alot of merit but when it becomes easy enough to clock enemies with the basic attacks and not use Action Chips it bores me to death if this system had any more flaws I would be wondering if this system should of gotten an overhaul.... WAIT, about the Custom Combo system not only do you have to put down what you want to use in the combo you need to spend action chips and also press the button when the attack gauge lights up and if you mess up, the combo dont work, thats one thing that annoys me, when the only thing you need to do is highlight a move then just keep pressing X to do that move it really gets annoying.

And heres another thing, as many people know the combat has some flaws when one of your characters can attack someone through a wall and still hit the enemy, and what about when one of your guys go down can you switch someone out to replace them, NO! even though the ability is there you can only do that outside combat, would someone explain that to me, you cant even swap people out when there up why have the choice to swap someone out when you cant do so in combat!!!

And the most annoying thing of all, The length now I know people are gonna say this is gonna be a load of crap, but honestly I consider a good length of time to be about 40 hours or more but when this game is on the PS3 having a game that last less than 25 is a damn joke! And for note, I didnt avoid combat that length is when I was clearing out just about everything in my way, and still beat it in that short amount of time, is this a RPG?

The story is normal at best they could of done alot better.

The online is this games only saving grace, it's very enjoyable with friends I thought with all the good upgrades being buyable on PSN I thought this was a bit stupid but I was relieved when I heard that most of the stuff is atainable in game as you rank up so at least they did something right.

Let me end by saying that this game is one of those that just makes me spew the hate for it and honestly I rented this on gamefly, cause if I bought this game, you would be hearing more complaining on this mess. And if White Knight Chronicles 2 comes out in the US they better fix alot of the annoyances or im not even going to get that game.

Sorry Zaku, but honestly this game dont live up to the hype, only my boiling hate...

1. Bought Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete on Blue-Ray and absolutly loved it and the very long Final Fantasy XIII Preview was even better makes me drool when that comes out it's going to be first day buy for me when it does

2. Final Fantasy VII for the PSP and PS3 (PSone Classic) - Best Final Fantasy Game EVAR! Nuff said...

3. Randum's Auction ended with me winning the auction and hopefully the Hori FS3 I got from him will be in the mail Monday (Thats right Scrub Sports Pumaoblivion SFIV Season 2... Im ready for WAR!!)

4. Got Pokemon Platinum for my Old DS... and understand why this series has held out so well through the years.... (Still have Pokemon Red and Blue around here someplace)

5. Wolfenstien 3D released on PSN - Yeah I know what people are gonna say Big WHOOP! But honestly folks if you look back at all First Person Shooters out there this one started the Genre and honestly it may seem a little old and dated but ... WHO CARES!!! If you want to see how the FPS came to pass put up $5 on PSN download this it's only 200mb and look at it from the old school gamers prespective cause this is THE classic that started the FPS some will say Doom did... NO! Forget that this game came first and it's from id Software... One last thing... Extra stuff for the PS3 game if you complete trophies... Come on whats not to love

Yeah Im awesome... although a little note for all of you people thinking about it a few things

1. Backup any data you dont want to mess with later (Like PS3 game downloads on PSN unless you got a good speed connection and it wont be a pain)

2. Download newest Firmware onto a Flash Drive (This was important to me cause without it I was screwed the info on how to place it on the Flash Drive in on the Sony Page)

3. Make Darn Sure it is a SATA Drive (Some 500gig Hard Drives will work and most Portable Enclosures do have SATA Drives in em but be careful PATA or Parellel ATA will not work do your research or just buy a Laptop Hard Drive that will work and use 5400 RPM drives the 7200 ones will work but that will just run your system hotter and sometimes thats not a good thing)

Now why did I do this... well the answer is simple when you got 16 PS3 games and only a 40gig Hard Drive plus PSN downloads even that little 40gig is gonna be straining to keep it all there so I thought this

"If im gonna upgrade my Hard Drive I want to make sure I dont need to again"

So with about $200 in my pocket I went to a local Computer Store and saw a 320 gig for $140 so I thought ok... maybe I can find better... and it was a good thing I did. the next store I went to was Radio Shack, I have a friend who works there and I decided to get his help on this and then I spotted it a 500gig Iomega Prestige Portable Hard Drive for $129 I instantly snatched it and asked if they had any specs on the drive, He had no idea so I thought that if I couldnt use it to upgrade my PS3 Hard Drive, Im not out much and got a decent 500gig Hard Drive to use on the road.

So after buying the drive I went to a local comic shop where most of my friends hang out one of them had a small screwdriver handy so I opened up the enclosure and to my shock the Laptop Drive inside was a SATA Drive and also one of the Brands that was on the compatible list on the Playstation Forums.

With this and a few hours ago I got home and followed the instructions to the letter on how to replace the Hard Drive.. and to my shock the drive worked (Mind you I had to download the Newest Firmware Update but oh well :p )

So it was very painless for the most part so my advice to anyone with a low end PS3 with a small Hard Drive... ditch that thing even a 160gig would be more than enough but if you want to go for broke try your luck online. So until next time

Nobody knows what was updated for Disgaea 3 and I hear rumors of Trophy Support finally so I fire this thing up... and just shake my head this comes with a Next Episode Store and all it shows is a Raspberyl music video.... it bumped the patch size from 220 to over 435 meg and NO TRPOHIES just a single movie and thats it

Ok, I may not have the fastest reflexes in the world but what Tim McVey has been doing for almost 2 days now is very epic in my opinion last time I checked in he was at 940 million with 31 lives left I was on around 10:00 Eastern and he was at 80. Which tells me alot these attempts are VERY hard and taxing on the body no matter what anyone says he has earned my respect he holds the record way back in 1984 with 1 billion 4 million points. As for me and many of the vgevo people watching the stream live are hopeing he can do this.

Maybe people can take a bit of inspiration away from all this and know one thing if you plan to do something like this be prepared and dont attempt it half-assed.

Which gives me hope for alot of gamers out there to try and achieve things that are within your grasp and for the ones that seem impossible try it but know it will be a taxing time but remember to have fun and never lose sight of your goal... just remember

Everyone has a right to dream but also they can achieve those dreams if they try
