Well,

There seems to be a bit of a issue regarding what I had wrote in the blog entry dated Friday. It is not my intention at all to be misleading in my decisions that are posted here. I had set myself on coming home with a PS3, but here's the situation.

1.) I draw disability pay from the Social Security Administration, and because of that, I receive a little over $450 a month and as such I had to make a decision. I skipped the Playstation 3 and picked up a XBox 360 Pro (actually, it's the premium system without the HDMI port in back ...) and picked up Halo 3, and Rainbow Six Vegas along with Viva Pinata.

2.) If I had more money, I would have bought a PS3 along with Heavenly Sword on Friday, but since this happened I picked up the 360. The hardest part of was tracking down a used VGA cable for the system. I left Longview (my hometown) around 5pm and ended up in Texarkana, AR at the local Gamestop about 3 and a 1/2 hours later and came out with the VGA cable, which also came with the adapter I needed as well as a gender adapter for hooking the cable up to a CRT monitor.


I still have plans to buy a PS3 down the line ... who knows what'll happen??

    Eh, either way you still win. I'm having a blast with my 360 and my poor PS3's been neglected. A lot of that's "shiny new toy syndrome" but I've also played most of what I want on PS3 already so 360 opened up a lot of new games for me. Pick up Lost Planet if you liked the multiplayer. You can find it dirt cheap and I replaced my PC version of it with the 360 version.
