Energy Drink Review

Thoughts of AcesHigh

Rate this Entry
For reference I am drinking a 16 fl oz can of Blade Energy.

All of the supplement facts will be by one serving size (there are two servings per 16 oz can)

Calories 120
Total Fat 0g
Sodium 170mg
Total Carbohydrate 31g
Sugars 31g
Protein 1g

All this stuff was presented in Daily Value, not grams mg ext...

Niacin (B3) 90%
Vitamin B12 80%
Vitamin B6 240%
Pantothenic Acid (B5) 45%

Smell: Simply put it is a mixture of grape and liquid candy, but mostly grape.

Flavor: Indeed it does taste like grape, and the good kind of grape, not the cough syrup kind. There is absolutely no liquid candy flavor, which is a very good thing. The grape really shines in this drink, and there is little to no other flavorings to detract from it. Carbonation is excellent for the drink, and it leaves a tingle down the throat. (8/10)

Pump Factor: To be frank there is hardly any pump in this drink compared to others. My concentration is up, but not to the extent I would like. (5/10)

Other Thoughts: For a energy drink Blade Energy does taste quite good, but the lacking energy levels really does hamper the over all experience. I would recommend Blade Energy to people easily affected by caffeine, because it just seems like it would boost their energy levels up quite a bit. If you are tolerant to caffeine then I would not suggest using Blade Energy to stay up all night. (6/10) - not an average

No Taurine in this one, which is probably why it lacks the punch you crave. ;D

You should review Mana, next. It does cost a lot.. but it looks like it packs a HUGE punch~

Taurine is listed on the front of the can, but is not listed any where on the Nutrition Facts, so I assume that it could be on the front of the can just for show, but who knows?

Really? That's really bizarre. I guess it must just be there for show. o ~o

If Taurine is on the front, they don't really need to put it on the back... There are all sorts of weird loopholes that these people use to get out of things. There is even a way to pack a ****-ton of sugar into a supposedly sugar-free product.
