I hate these sorts of threads, so I'll keep it short.

If you've ever heard my podcast, this should probably come as no surprise. I've voiced opinions there, and in other various forms concerning this "community". At first, they were simple observations. I meant no harm, but now I realize that being here is not a positive influence on my life.

I feel that continuing my membership here would only serve to make me a hypocrite. I no longer desire to be part of the problem. I should've realized in the 80s that putting a circle in a square peg just doesn't work.

I like a lot of you, and it was great hanging out over the last few years.

I don't know when or if I'll be back. The earliest I will be back will be after I go to MGC. (you all can meet my wife!). For now, I consider it a vacation. I don't [i]want[/i] to leave, but I think it's just in my best interest right now.

    Sorry to see you go for a while - although we have facebook and twitter and PSN, VGEvo will always be remembered by me as the place I first met you; you were editing ep.4 of BFM - Dusty Noses, and I was about to leave for my music exam. Have fun, and hopefully we'll see you again soon.
