Last night while I was sleeping my computer became self aware and turned on - obviously I was a little freaked out and was doing army rolls and Sam Fisher split-leg jumps at 3am so I'm a little bleary eyed if none of this ends up making any sense.
So this week (well, for the last few weeks) there has been a lot going on in the community. A lot has been said and a lot has been done - it is kind of sad it has come to this. I haven't had a lot to do with The Marquis - I did see him in the shoutbox ranting but our paths never crossed. I did have a lot more to do with Tears and Tondog as we did promo swaps for our respective shows - they were good to me and they will be missed on here but I do understand the reasons why they're gone.
I myself do not consider myself a big part of the community - I'd love to be. I'd love Game On! to be part of VGEvo's awesome network. We, of course, have to pay our dues first and we'll do whatever it takes to get there. But like I mentioned last week - timezones are my biggest enemy and stop me from getting online to play with you guys. Of course - you can always try - to add me on PSN I'm smalfry
So this week we've got a great show for you guys - Hoobastank is here... sorry, I watch too much SNL. This week we're going to be talking about the top five games we missed out on and you can contribute yours by emailing us or posting here.
We'll also discuss some of the announcements from GDC - especially PlayStation Move. I am actually kind of keen for it. I play my PS3 a lot more then my Wii and the games I play on my Wii are light gun games. If developers start making light gun games for the PS3 to the standard of House of the Dead Overkill or Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles then who wouldn't be keen. Hell, I might even pick up Tiger Woods and use the Move controller as a nine iron - that's a real thing right?
So that's it from me - Episode 44 is in the Other Podcasts section if you haven't listened to it yet and you can also check out our website at www.gameonpodcast.net
Until next week...
Game On!
