"April 7, 2009 - you've tuned in to the first episode of Drunken Gamers Australia"

Yes in seven days Game On! turns one years old. Just to think - one year ago we tried to launch Drunken Gamers Australia and failed but from the ashes rose Game On!

In 12 months we've gradually gained more listeners and we are grateful for every one who has downloaded the show at least once to give it a listen. If it's not your thing then no big deal - there are some podcasts that aren't my thing but I respect them for what they do.

Naturally there are people we want to thank outside of our listeners. First and foremost - Ken and Terry - thanks for letting me post the show. We appreciate it and hope one day to hear from a future MGC that we'll be on the network. To Zippy, Simon and Confused Dude of PlayStation Chat - you guys were the first ones to play a promo for us and I'm sure most of our listeners are ours because of your awesome show. I'd also like to thank GameCrashers - Rob has been a great fan of our show and has mentioned us on more then one occassion which I think has also helped us gain an audience. Finally - to Drunken Gamers Radio - you guys have been a huge inspiration on us and if we could be half the show you guys are it would be an achievement. Keep on truckin.

Well that's enough gushing - let's get to this week's show. Thank f**k Todd has bought Just Cause 2 so we'll be discussing that. I'll also chip in with some discussion on Modern Warfare's new map pack.

Our Main Event will be the top five video game characters we want fighting alongside us and you can email your post them here. It should be entertaining.

During the show we'll play some of the montages we've had and our old promos. It's been a blast putting this show together each week. Looking back we've only missed one show and always managed to get it out on time. We may not have the best sound quality or loads of competitions and interviews - but we do try hard to put together the best videogame podcast out there each week.
