I'm pleased to announce our Retroids exclusive interview with technology supervisor at High Voltage Software and creator of Star Castle 2600, D. Scott Williamson. Scott was kind enough to speak with me about the trials and tribulations of getting the arcade game, Star Castle ported over to the Atari 2600. Many have tried before, including Howard Scott Warshaw, creator of Yars' Revenge back in the 1980s. Decades later, Scott was finally able to pull it off in his spare time and make a great version for the VCS.

1.8 million PlayStation Vitas Sold

The latest numbers are in. Website, Gamasutra confirmed through CEO Kaz Hirai that Sony has now sold 1.8 million PlayStation Vita portable units. The last update for number of units sold was 1.2 million, back in February 2012. Hirai is reportedly saying that this is a "good start" for the Vita. Reinforcing and adding to the software lineup will be key in gaining momentum and establishing the Vita as a powerhouse player among gamers.
