General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Default Arcade Stick Gallery

So, as Shino eluded to in this thread, we made a nice sized batch of sticks a little while ago.

The whole project got a little out of control with bad weather, sickness and other obligations getting in the way. We got almost everything cut that first weekend, then had to redesign... blah blah blah.... everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Let's just say that a weekend-long project turned into 4 weeks. :P

Let it be known, however, that this whole thing could not have been done if not for my wife, Lisa (Oddbit). Sure, I did all the wiring, hardware and initial design - Chris helped out with a lot of cutting, drilling and chipped in for some of the parts, but Lisa really kept this thing going, put in a s**t-ton of manual labor and had her hands in pretty much every aspect.

    Thank you, love.

In any case.... I didn't get a chance to take as many pictures along the way as I wanted to (as we quickly fell behind schedule), but I got a couple... Chris might have some too...

    Terry's Stick

    Ken's Stick

Lisa also recreated Sheng Long (I asked her to go into detail in this thread - so more on that later)

    Geoff's Stick

    (w/Easter Egg)

There are a few more that we did, but I'll let those guys post pictures if they like.

I'll post mine when I get home.

Yeah Jason and Lisa did most of the work. I tried to give them as much help as I could.

Confirmed. Chris offered to come over a lot, but due to our schedules Lisa and I usually ended up working on them pretty late at night... after pappy Riccio's bedtime.

    Actually... we have.
However, it's a ton of work and with our schedules it's hard to commit to getting them done.

We have been flirting with the idea of an Annual Joystick party (total not gay).
So we'll keep you in mind if we do that.

Nice cases, but I despise those ergonomic hippy button layouts.

Wish I had the skills to build a case like that.
