The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :

  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. These are all 3rd party PS2 controllers with PS2 -> PS3 converters attached. I tried hard to get Pelican converters for everyone (as they are some of the best available), but they've been discontinued. These off-brand ones work pretty well though and I didn't notice any real bad lag.

I looked into the UPCB, but with as many sticks as we were making, it just wasn't cost effective. The pre-constructed ones were sold out and the DIY kits were still $40, I think... Besides, I heard rumblings that the Akihabara Shop owner was kinda laying low. He also stocks some converters that I was looking for... Down the road I might pick one up for myself as I really want a stick for the 360 more than anything.

These work pretty damn well, though. Gutted controllers, 22 gauge wire soldered to the leads on the pad's PCB and the buttons' microswitches. Also, hot glue to secure the joints. Same gauge wire daisy-chained between all the switches for the ground.

The wiring's a little messy as we cut all the wires beforehand - so some are longer than other's, but once again, works.

I don't know about anyone else here... but just looking at them in pics I'd figure you'd be able to sell them for somewhere around $100 a pop without much trouble.

heh... they're also mass produced, have stock art and are made of plastic. Light, slippin all around, plastic. No thank you.

Seriously?? I've never own a stick before I was planning to buy the sfiv one. Now you're making me not want to buy it. I'm sorry I thought they were all professional and good. And I thought you guy's arnt as good (no offense I didn't know). Hmmmmm.

If so it's true. And the vgevoers arnt selling it, what should I get? The hori sfiv? Should I order a customs made one? Is it hard to build?, maybe I can get like a pre-made one with instructions off eBay or something....

No, they're fine for what they are. In fact, they're great for 3D fighters. But I really prefer something that feels like something in an American arcade. Bat-type stick, sturdy...

And, you know, if $100 seems like too much, have a gander at one of these guys:

Amazon.com: Sony PS3 Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition: Video Games

Still plastic, still too light... and not even custom. It does, however, use authentic Sanwa parts from what I understand. Still, Japanese style parts, not what I'm used to and certainly nothing I'd pay that much for.

but those ones aren't made with love.

If you were to sell any of them and they were less than what Arcade-In-Box.com sells their custom stick for then I would probably buy one.

There's no question that these are quality sticks made with the best materials, buttons and joysticks available. Even though the Hori sticks are decent, one of the main problems with the mass-produced ones is that they're light. This is the heaviest, most well-constructed stick I've ever owned, and it's over 10 pounds! Don't believe me? Check out the pic.

I put this sucker on the digital bathroom scale and it came up with 10.2 pounds (not 102...the dot is missing in the picture). So, it this worth $100+? Definitely, and without question.
