I just started watching it a few days ago. I'm up to episode 20 i think.

holy s**t. It's probably one of the best animes I've seen. It's a lot like death note actually.
not sure what to make of wtf just happened. I have a bad feeling i know where the series is heading. :/

Just started watching Code Geass a few days ago. Episode 6 right now and I think it's pretty good so far.

Finished it. Wow. definetly my favourite anime.
    Spoiler:
I actually shed tears at the end
It might've been because i was up til 4am watching it in a dark room with lots of eyestrain. but still. that ending was really good.

    --

Anyways: Lelouche is possibly alive. The ending was left ambigious on purpose.
I found this post floating around the internet. basically explains everything.

    http://i.imgur.com/IJ2Vf.png

when Lelouche "killed" the emperor he obtained his Code(immortality)
Thus he obtained Code Geass. imortality. living to the end of time with C2
Apperently the original japanese version had a closseup of his face.

    Incidently:
it explains the why the anime is called code geass, and why season is called R2. because R2's in japanese would be pronounced the same as L2. it all comes back around, since lelouche is just like C2 now.

Nice write up, Raonak. I'd read some of this since my original post, but the thing that always bothered me was why LuLu still had his powers since it didn't seem like they could have the powers and the code simultaneously... The idea that he doesn't lose them (and in fact, he may never lose them) unless C2 dies was lost on me. I was nearly sure he had gotten the code somehow, though, when I watched the ending again a few days ago and it dawned on me that Nunnally could see his memories because he in fact had the code, just like when C2 touches some people.

As for a close up on the face in the Japanese version, that unfortunately was a well-done hoax. When I saw that video on YouTube I about flipped that they would take that out of the English version, but I heard it was a hoax so I went back and watched the Japanese dubs to verify it was a hoax. C2's eyes never move that far to look towards the driver, and the frame doesn't end on the driver either.

I'd never heard of the R2/L2 thing... Interesting.

    Later.
