Yeah, I saw that; and while an IRC server wouldn't have seamless integration with the main site you could set up an admin bot / nickserv so that users could register their handles and only the could use them.

Beside, do you really think I could manage to impersonate Taytay for more than 5 minutes on IRC before anybody caught on?

We're not opposed to an IRC server at all, at some point down the road. It would be a nice thing to have. But it would be a nightmare to re-register everyone on the site and keep track of it. Once some sort of integration software comes out that allows your current vBulletin userbase to use an IRC channel and not re-register for it, you'll get your wish. If you can find us something like that, let us know, by all means!

It needs a feature to open it in it's own window. Right now it opens up INSIDE VGEvo.com. This isn't good for my phone, and you can't see as much at once.

The shoutbox works great, but the new mod powers are spooky - the post editing of others is too open to curruption and deception - sure enough deleting inapproprate comments is alright, but changing what we say? I'm sure all the current mods won't abuse this too much, but there's always a chance...

Everyone has the ability to edit there own comments in the new shoutbox, and I was just having fun with utd because he keeps posting nothing but emotes lol
