Sony will announce a true follow up to the PSP with two analog sticks (probability: very low)

Microsoft will announce Xbox "Slim" with two HD sizes to sell at $249/$299/and one with a game and extra controller for $399 (probability: medium to high)

PS2 is finally retired by the end of 2010 (probability: very high)

GameCrashers will get it's third itunes review sometime in 2010 (probability: hahahah!)

Another game will change its name post release. I read on ps3trophies.org that Magic Ball is changing its name to Magic Orbz.

A new Need for Speed game will be announced.
Nintendo will announce a reward system similar to trophies and achievements.

Some crazy ones I just heard:

Zenimax (owners of Bethesda and ID) will buy Valve/Steam

Many more FPS/RPG hybrids announced in 2010

EA to be bought by Disney or some very large entity.

2K, due to financial troubles, target of acquisitions once again.

Bioshock 2 will be a huge disappointment in both critical acclaim and consumer reception.

More big games going download only and subscription based for post-release content (beyond just future Madden entries)

Some of those aren't crazy. I think half of those may actually happen. Take two is always in financial trouble. The FPS/RPG hybrid formula works so capitalize on that success. Disney already acquired Marvel earlier this year.

I predict that about 6 more models of the PSP will be made
The PS3 will get a subscription service
A major publishing company will fall
