General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

Actually I got a pretty decent session with a full squad last night. The lobby system worked fine.
I'm really happy the developers added a server browser and squad management into BF3. BFBC2 didn't have any of this in consoles, so it's cool they listened to the fans.

I played the PC version a little and I like the game, but Origin almost ruins it. I played with a friend and we couldn't get voice chat working to save our lives. We ended up resorting to Skype. Half the time our text chat messages wouldn't come through either.

Also, the fact that you can only launch the game from a web browser is just retarded. Because of this, you can't even play the campaign without an internet connection. All of this BS almost makes me wish that I had gotten the PS3 version.

The F-18 section was utterly mind blowing. Wow what an assault on the visual and audio senses. I was just in awe of that part.

It opens up your default browser, so if it opened up IE then it must have assumed that your default was IE.

I have to agree. Sadly, I wish it wasn't so much on rails. I would have loved to be the pilot. I am glad it allowed us to play a Helicopter level in co-op. That's were I learned how to fly it but still need to learn some more about it.

Finished the campaign. Underwhelming to say the least. Unpolished, incredibly disconnected QTE's, scripting problems, and a ton of screen tearing were my main issues. Paid $10 to play multiplayer and while fun, at the moment there is some bad lag with servers here and there. I feel like the mantle jump is interesting in the campaign but in multiplayer it seems a little jenk. Sometimes you'll jump to get through a window and NOPE. I cannot think of the last time DICE released a multiplayer game that actually worked great at launch and I do not know why I keep giving them money. That being said, multiplayer is still the best part of the entire package and if you can wait for another few 100 meg patches, it'll probably be alright.

Yea something tells me people are buying on PC and when they find out that you need another client and another account they are f**k this and not playing it. I hope that the fing battlelog is not used with the steam version when they release it.
i would change the world but they wouldn't give me the source code

I am that guy. The one you know exists, but never see. That guy that does more stuff behind the scenes than you can possibly imagine. The one that you only ever see out of the corner of your eye, but when you look to see who it is you don't see anyone. I AM THAT GUY!

I'd be incredibly surprised. For that they'd have to take the time to build in a whole new interface for the PC version, and it seems they kinda have a hard-on of sorts for this new system. At this point I'd even be able to overlook battlelog and origin if they could make it more stable. That's all I want.
