General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Cool Building a Better Kenshi - Now with story trailer!

    Myself and AlFighter27 were chatting away on skype about Kenshi from Mortal Kombat, the blind swordsman. I came up with a few ideas, let me know what you think, or even add your own ideas for kenshi or characters you hope appear later on!

    Here's an excerpt of what we said:

    [20:33:47] primebuster: he was a favourite in the PS2 3d games
    [20:34:15] primebuster: they'll have to change him up a bit tho, cos he uses kinetic powers like ermac
    [20:34:26] primebuster: they should focus on the fact that hes blind for his moves

    [20:34:44] AlFighter27: haha, like when you play as him the screen is just black
    [20:34:50] primebuster: lol
    [20:35:11] primebuster: nah, more like his moves are possibly all parrys or triggered when an enemy comes close?
    [20:35:21] primebuster: like, he can hear them

    [20:35:30] AlFighter27: hrm
    [20:35:46] primebuster: i think that would be cool, add a layer of gameplay other than simple rushdown tactics

    [20:37:46] primebuster: its not like the idea of parrys in the game would be unique to him, after all, smoke has his shake, and cage has his X-Ray

    [20:39:14] primebuster: i mean, smoke can parry nearly everything with his enhanced shake, it should be like that with kenshi... he has different parrys for high and low, and he has a seperate parry for projectiles. it would make him uber hard to play, but its no different than playing Hakumen in BlazBlue then
    [20:39:29] primebuster: he should be really weak unless he connects a parry
    [20:40:14] primebuster: and obviously he should have a parry for his X-Ray as well
    [20:40:59] primebuster: its a better idea than using kinetic powers, cos then hed just play more or less like ermac, and thats always a "keep away" game anyway

    [20:41:53] AlFighter27: yeah
    [20:41:55] AlFighter27: and to balance that
    [20:42:04] AlFighter27: they'd allow easy combos in and out of parrys
    [20:42:38] primebuster: aye, he should have a high damage reduction tho, cos his moves should be weak unless a parry connects
    [20:44:00] primebuster: could even add a slight comedy element to him as well, like when he swings his sword he should occasionally lose balance slightly or have a longer recovery cos he never truly knows when hes gonna connect

    [20:47:37] AlFighter27: makes sense
    [20:47:52] AlFighter27: i doubt he'll be this aweome though
    [20:48:27] primebuster: like, maybe when hes really far away or really close he's less chance of the long recovery, but mid-screen might be his weakness, cos he doesnt really know how close he is to them
    [20:49:01] primebuster: like, up-close he can hear them, and far away he cant, so theres no danger of him failing the strike, but medium range is like "ehh, will, i hit, or not?"
    [20:49:53] primebuster: so a cool tactic against him may be to dash in and out to force kenshi to try striking, but tricking him into missing.
    What do you guys think? Is the kinetic thing something that should be unique to ermac, or should kenshi play similarly? I personally think he should be a parry monster. Other games have them. Hakumen in BlazBlue and Gouken in SSF4, why not mortal kombat?

    He looks pretty cool from that trailer, I like that he can counter projectiles too.
