Suda, Mikami and Yamaoka ... had to play this one. Awesome banter, good music, competent 3rd person shooter, tons of dick jokes, lots of gore and graphic filth. I wasn't disappointed, but also not blown away. One of those overlooked b rank gems.

They're full of annoying, cheap, useless gimmick. For example, one of the Deadly Descents is full of trees, a ton of trees. One requires you to stay in sunlight otherwise you freeze and a different one you have to use an oxygen tank to stay alive, which means have to keep an eye on the track whilst you get a lot of vignetting, so you use some oxygen (another meter you have to keep an eye on). They're all just frustrating and pointless.

#1: Completed King of Fighters XIII Story Mode (01/02/12) (PS3) - great fighting game with a large, unique roster.
#2: Completed Portal (01/03/12) (PC/Steam) - That Part 3/4 the way though made the game amazing.
#3: Completed Portal 2 (01/05/12) (PC/Steam) - Flippin fantastic set of games 1&2 REVIEW
#4: Completed inFamous 2 (01/23/12) (PS3) - Finished as "Hero". Great game!
#5: Completed Yakuza 4 (01/29/12) (PS3) - Not quite as good as 3, but still amazing! Totally epic Boss fights.
#6: Completed Resident Evil 4 for the first time (01/31/12) (PS2) - One of the best Resi games ever. Blows 5 outta the water, and I loved 5. REVIEW
#7: Completed Catherine (02/17/2012) (PS3) - "Whatever, Buddy." ending - great game! REVIEW
#8: Competed Persona 3 FES "The Journey" (03/04/12) - Incredible game, I think the Persona series is my favourite of all RPGs. REVIEW

After Playing Catherine, I decided to finally go about completing one of my persona games from start to finish. Persona 3 is extremely long and lasted me 76 hours. Part of me was burned out about 60 hours in from playing nothing but that for the past 2 weeks, but I'm glad I decided to stick with it to the end. Everything about Persona 3 is incredible, and while the social links in P4 are deeper and more interesting, Persona 3 has a fantastic story mixed with great turn based RPG gameplay and the dating-sim style of Tokimeki Memorial. Slow paced - but deliberately so - P3 is definitely one of the best RPGs I've played! You people should definitely play it as well!

11. GrimGrimoire (PS2/PCSX2, 2012/03/04)

It took me a year to finish this one. Not being a RTS guy I was delighted with the first 70% of the game. Battles were challenging, but do-able at the first attempt. The last third was a different story, battles took long and were tougher. Losing meant playing for 30-60 minutes with nothing to show for. Did a few battles every now and then, but took long breaks when I got annoyed. I loved the story and characters, so I made a final push. Glad I did, awesome ending and closure to a great "Groundhog Day" like story.
