14: Sine Mora (XBLA 4/15)
The best new shmup I've played in a long time. It controls great, has good weapons, and a bunch of sick bosses, and the time mechaninc works for me as well. The story was kind of incomprehensible, but it's presentation and style are top notch all the way. I can't recommend this game enough if you are into left-rightly shooters.
Currently into: 15th century villages, poutine, and holding onto a play off spot

#9: Bionic Commando Rearmed (04/18/12) (PSN) - One of my all-time favourite games! Loved going back to revisit it!
#10: Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 (04/19/12) - Not QUITE as good as the original Rearmed, but still great!
#11: Bionic Commando '09 (04/20/12) (PS3) - My all-time favourite game. Many games have challenged this title, few games have temporarily replaced this title but unless they make another one, this game will probably be my favourite forever.
#12: Bionic Commando '09 (04/21/12) - Completed again for the platinum! REVIEW!
I've been on a Bionic Commando binge this past week. Completed Rearmed again, then Completed Rearmed 2 for the first time, and just today I completed the 2009 Bionic Commando on PS3 not once, but twice! Once for the Commando/Hard mode trophies and then once more on Normal difficulty to do all the challenges! Platinumed!!!(My second ever!)
I think I'm gonna go back to rearmed 1 and 2 now to try 100% those 2 as well

11) Amnesia: The Dark Descent (4/21)
Man, I wish I finished as many games as I played.
So I finally went back in and powered through Amnesia the Dark Descent. Never, EVER before has a game actually made me scream out loud in absolute terror, but man did Amnesia do it. Its totally caught on stream over on our Twitch channel too.
The game is just nothing like anything out there, and I am extremely excited for the sequel Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, which is supposed to come out later this year.
Also, I got the "special" ending, if you're familiar.
I have Kid Icarus, Tales of Graces, Jak and Daxter, and FEZ to play now, so hopefully I'll start finishing more games again.

18. Fractal (Steam, 2012/04/22)
Hexagon puzzle game, tons of elements and wild chain reactions. The soundtrack is dynamic in tempo and vibrancy, the better you do the more awesome the music gets. Highly addicting, I finished its campaign in a matter of days.

Spoiler:
19. Magicka (Steam, 2012/04/22, default adventure, online with 3-4P)
Slightly buggy, but nevertheless hilarious action-adventure. The 4P online co-op was so much fun, especially the involuntary comedy of human error. Remember, the safeword is Banana
Mad props to the Retroids community: Saskboy gifted me the game last year around Christmas; Ken, Lteam, lord_of_Valhalla, snydertiger for romping through it with me on Steam Sundays. I prolly had ignore Magicka all together without you guys, thanks![]()
