General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Default Steam Sundays

Join fellow Retroids and Steam users for awesome online gaming fun!

Starting time is around 20:00 GMT, 3:00PM EST, "high noon" PST, plus/minus one hour with cross region madness in mind. Make sure to check the Steam group's event schedule to avoid timezone confusion.

We always sport a Skype call, make sure to have your ID ready.

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome, discuss!

All the details in one place:

    Games, we usually play:

    *² download/install infos:

    Blood Tracks
Crash Bandicoot: The Return of Dr. Cortex
    Warcelona
    Suicide Blitz 2
    I Hate Mountains 2
    Tour of Terror
    Haunted Forest
    Dark Parish
    Yama

    How to install them:
    1. download zip files
    2. extract the vpk files from the zips and double click on each vpk
    3. done

    Borderlands Steam Sunday Run!

Progress is prolly going to be pretty slow. It will take us ages to finish the game, if at all. But it's more about the 4P co-op fun, raising hell as a group and warming up for Borderlands 2.

I'm going to update this thread after each session with the group's current level. People interested in tagging along should try to have/keep a character very close to the group's level. It should be pretty easy to catch up since, like I said before, the group's progress will be pretty slow.

    Current level is 4.

I usually work on Sundays, but I'd be up for some L4D2 or Portal 2 when I'm around.

I realized this mustn't be a Retroids group exclusive thing, many podcasts on the network got their own Steam group and we could totally hand Steam Sundays around like a filthy whore. Kinda like Steam Sundays hosted by GameCrashers, by InDis, by Retroids, etc.

    +1 for Killing Floor.

I've also got Battlefield 3, but I've barely played it because Origin is a steaming pile of crap.

Count me in! Be warned, I'm a complete noob of Steam multiplayer gaming, but I'd love to try some L4D2 action (my current fave). Look for "Evil" in the Retroids Steam group (ID kenmstrs). Feel free to add me! Since I can actually afford the occasional Steam sale purchase, it's easier for me to hang with Steam gamers than console gamers. In that regard, is Killing Floor a good game? Sounds like a couple of you have it. I almost picked it up during the last sale. What are some other good, inexpensive, multiplayer titles on Steam?

On a side note, I'm in the process of beefing up our Retroids Gaming Network forums, so be on the lookout for a Steam section where we can organize our gaming days/nights!

I'll do my best to jump online this weekend for a while.

Great to see so much interest. Plankfan was kind enough to make me Retroids group admin, I'll schedule a group event for tomorrow. Let's gather in the shoutbox and we'll take it from there.

I'm a m/kb noob myself, so you're in good company. Team Fortress 2 is free to play, Alien Swarm too. Magicka seems to be a hoot and a bunch of Retroids already own that one.
