Its been a great time seeing Retroids transform from VGEvo and see all the podcasts grow, the community grow, change and ultimately give us all a good reason to stay home on the weekends to duke it out in Street Fighter! I am writing this update to lay out the future for the podcast. As many of the long time listeners know, the show has transformed, had good shows, bad shows, and some great nights of gaming on the Xbox.
First of all, I am not giving up podcasting; I like it too much and enjoy talking about games. What I will be doing is scaling back to no regular release and starting in the fall will probably be releasing only a handful of episodes that following year. Recently, I took an entrance exam to continue school and I will focusing on my post-undergrad schooling coming this fall. I will still be working full time for the first year, which could make things a little tough! I have to make some cuts and the podcast will be taking a back seat to these other things going on right now. So what this means as a listener is probably not a lot different than whats been happening this past year - but I do plan on making better content in the shows. The releases will be inconsistent based on my school work- but the episodes that do release will be focused heavily on news on the Xbox or maybe an old school review or two. So as a podcast listener myself, it might be a show you check for updates every so often and listen to between your regular schedule of weekly shows.
The good news, I’ll still be posting on the boards and hopefully participating in Retroids events throughout the year. The name ‘360 Nation’ will be changing to ‘Xbox Next Podcast’ at some point, most likely at the release of the new console or slightly before. I’ll continue to keep everyone updated as things change but I will be at MGC next week, so hope to see anyone who is going this year.
On a side note, for those of you seriously interested in carrying the weight of the show, please let me know.
Good luck with your schooling and hope to see you around!

Good luck with school. I wish I could help with the show, but time seems to be a rare thing these days.
