Need Help!: Best Party Driving Games for PS3?

Hey all!

I own Burnout Paradise, Blur, and ModNation Racers. Blur and ModNation are the favorites when I have friends over since they both have local multiplayer/splitscreen. I have the Party Pack for Burnout but passing around a controller and waiting for your turn gets a bit stale.

Are there any other racing games with good local multiplayer that I should pick up for the next time the gang shows up for a high-speed throw down?

Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (and I'm pretty sure Apocalypse) both have 4-player split screen MP. They're damn challenging, but they're a blast to play with friends! Also, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing has some pretty good local multiplayer as well.

I don't know exactly what kind of local multiplayer they have but the only games that I can think that you can look into are Wipeout, Pure, and Split Second.

Like plankfan said, I think your best bet is Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Apocalypse. Apocalypse even allows for 2 player splitscreen online which is pretty cool. I didn't realize that Blur had four player multi, might have to grab that.

also if you're in the states checkout the ps1 classics section i know that wipeout and destruction derby are in there

What about the Burnout PSN game... Burnout Crash or whatever it was. That could be a good oen.

Oh, well if we're talking PS1 classics, I'd go with CTR: Crash Team Racing. It's one of my favorite racers of that era for sure.

I have Driver San Francisco and It is an awesome Driving game with lots of variety in gameplay with races, crashes, high speed chases and stuff! I have never played multiplayer cause I gots nobody to play with but it does have a split screen co-op mode! Even without multiplayer the game is just awesome!
