General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

I can still order them on the tickets page, so I believe so. I haven't gotten anything yet telling me the final spots have been completely sold out yet.

FYI, games carrying over from last year:

    1. Jungle Hunt
    2. Pac-Man C.E. DX
    3. Sonic
    4. Super Mario Bros.
    5. Tetris DS
    6. Galaga
    7. Neo Turf Masters
    8. Typing of the Dead

Everything else is new this year.

That said, there will be about 8 new games including a few shmups, racing games, something you can play on a tablet, and at least another action game. The only new game we've announced thus far is Zen Pinball 2, though no table specifically.

Remember that you can pick up to 9 games for the tournament out of approximately 16 games to choose from. Challenges themselves can range from high score, survival, best time, etc.

    Later.

Sorry I failed to get back to you on this for a few days. I was actually in an area with no Internet if you can believe that, heh.

Anyway, tournament is scheduled to start at 8 I believe according to the website. That's what we're planning on, anyway.

Please keep in mind that may not be the time you actually start, however. Since the tournament is set up so that every contestant gets a 'caddy', there will be about 8-10 people that start at 8 PM and then we'll introduce more contestants as things progress through the night.

    Later.

Been a long, long time guys. *EDIT* Just saw you have to pre-reg and pay for the Up to Par tourney, not just "sign up." I'll do my best to make that happen.

    Hope all is well.

You may have been the person that snuck in as we were closing it, heh. Up to Par is now sold out as of a few days ago!

Panels were announced... I'm sure a lot of you have already seen the HyperKin announcement on various sites and the return of Billy Mitchell to the MGC (he set the public world record of Donkey Kong back in 2004 at the Midwest Gaming Classic), and I'm also really psyched to see Raven Software at the show going through their long history of some absolutely fantastic games over the years. That should be an outstanding panel!
