    Default Gravity Rush (PSV)

The demo is out there on the PSN store... go get it.

It's a short demo, but overall I enjoyed what I played. I LOVE the presentation. Even the cut scenes are presented in a unique way. They are shown in comic book format, but the panels have depth so that you can move the Vita around and actually look into the panels... REALLY cool stuff.

Combat seems to be just one button as far as the demo goes. The gravity manipulation is pretty neat. I think the controls would just take a little getting used to.

Overall, enjoyed the demo quite a bit and will definitely be preordering the game.

I did like the presentation (An actually comic book that looks good in a game) but so far I'm not totally sold on the traversal or the combat. That boss was just annoying. Did you use the sixxaxis much for pointing to your destination?

That said, if there is a big open world city to explore that will mitigate that stuff.

I remember messing with the demo at Best Buy a few weeks ago. I had the game pre-ordered for a little while now so I could get the DLC. I probably won't be able to play this until a few months after release though.

I didn't use the sixaxis to point at my destination at all actually. I would probably want to turn that off. I just used the right stick.

Yeah I think I will. Kinda dig what I'm hearing from casts, sounds more like the control issues are more a getting used to it thing like skyward sword anyway.

Got the game, so far it is excellent. A very unique identity in it's styling and presentation. Also control issues I had in the demo were just learning pains. They should have let the demo be more open worldly.

I picked it up last night as well...

I didn't get to play a whole hell of a lot of it b/c I popped in Lollipop Chainsaw and that was all she wrote... but I got a good hour or so in and I really love it.
The sense of speed is really cool when you start falling in a direction. The combat is... shallow right now, but I like the floating kick mechanic so that helps.
The dodge moves are pretty cool too. I was scoffing at the idea of a screen swipe being the dodge, but it took me almost no time to get used to it so it didn't really hinder gameplay at all. Just shows that the Vita is a well designed piece of hardware when you can quickly go from buttons to touch screen and back to buttons with 0 issues.

I love the open world fell of the game. One of the things that makes an open world game for me is the ability to navigate the world in interesting ways (see inFamous), so this one was right up my ally. When a quest marker was like 400y away and I was able to get there in a matter of seconds... something's right!

Will definitely be playing more today.

Picked it up as well, and can't wait to get into it.

Anyone hear about any freezing issues? The guy at EB tried to sell me the replacement plan warning me that the game froze all the time. I googled and didn't find anything so maybe he was just being an idiot, but thought I'd see if anyone else has heard anything.
