I apologize for the delay guys, but I wasn't able to finish everything the way I wanted it before my "cutoff date." This first post is probably going to appear pretty long, so I apologize ahead of time. I have a few other ideas, but those will have to wait for now. Anywho...
Hello and welcome to the Retroids Diablo 3 Donation and Trading Post! I apologize for the delay in creating these posts, but I wanted to try to get everything smoothed out as best I could before launching the thread. Also, please note that these guidelines are merely suggestions to help keep everything in an organized manner, and if you have ideas for this thread or like / dislike ANYTHING you see, PLEASE leave feedback! Also, if you have questions on anything, please feel free to ask! The only way this sort of thing will succeed is if we all come together to make it work!
The point of this thread is to have a centralized place for Retroids members to donate, accept, trade and sell items. I don't want to make this too confusing or feel like (too much) work for anyone, so if this seems at all overwhelming, I apologize in advance. Again, I welcome all feedback, including for changes to be made!
One quick note: For the time being, this is open to ALL registered Retroids members. However, if we begin to see a lot of new accounts form and try to take advantage of this (doubtful but possible,) we will restrict use as necessary, in order to protect "regular" Retroids members.
Donaters / Traders: Welcome! To trade or donate items, I just ask that you please follow a few simple guidelines to ensure ease of use by everyone.
----Please continue to use the same list for your donations, and update as necessary. - This could be a post, thread, spreadsheet, picture gallery, or whatever else you feel is easiest for you. It will allow me to create a permanent link to your list and add it in the second post of this thread, and prevent others from having to search through pages and pages of a thread to see if new items are available.
----Please separate donations (free items) from trade/sell items. - You do NOT need to create a whole new list for these items, unless you feel it's necessary. I just ask that trade/sell items be together in their own "section," be clearly labeled as trade/sell only, and/or have a price listed. This is to prevent people from accidentally assuming you are giving away a high-priced item.
----If selling items to other Retroids members, please list the items at a mimimum 15% lower price than the Auction House Value. - We are trying to help each other out here, and remember that when selling on the Auction House, you already lose 15% of the Final Selling Price, so you're not losing any profit by giving users that discount instead. Also, PLEASE be fair when evaluating the price and discount, as these are your fellow Retroids members who are looking for items!
Accepting Donations: Welcome! We're here to help! If you are looking to receive items, you will be requesting items that a Donater has listed as "Donations," free items, no cost items, or anything else equivalent to you not having to trade or pay for said items. To do so, simply post in this thread that you would like "item name(s)" from "Donater name(s)." Please note that requesting an item does not guarantee you will get it. It's 100% the Donater's choice on who to give the item to. While I hope that items will be spread out among accepting players as best they can, I can also understand if someone has a set of gear or items that work well together and should be kept that way, or if they would like to focus on specifically helping certain people with gear.

Reserved for... Well, I don't know, but possibly something, just grabbing this post just in case. Post to be added, possibly.
Hey everyone, I just want to apologize for the delay in getting this up and running. I wanted to put together some things and with being sick earlier this week, I honestly just didn't have the desire to get it done.
That said, I've made a bit of progress, and hope to have it up very soon. Thanks!
Seriously, don't worry about it and get better!!
Would this thread be better served in the newly revamped Marketplace section?
