    Default theatrhythm final fantasy

yeah i got this last wednesday (2 days before release thankyou shopto ) and was wondering if anyone else got it.

personally as a big fan of ff's music and the rhythm genre i find it to be godlike its that good. its got around 70 songs that are playable and 50 in planned dlc.

basically depending on how the year pans out this could be my GoTY

I had it early too. Loving it. I wish it did a bit more with the RPG elements, but the rhythm gameplay is amazing. the different stage types help it from feeling repetitive.

Already bought one song just to see what was available and I've had too little in my 3DS wallet for a game for far too long. I probably won't mess much with DLC, but if they ever put Dancing Mad out, I'll get it right away.

Too bad, FMS scenes won't be available for DLC. I'd love to see some of the spin off titles released to add to the game.

Wicked, I still just have 11 and 12 to do to finish normal mode, I can imagine how tough it gets after playing some of those dark notes in the chaos shrine.

They should have built the whole game around the Chaos Shrine rather than the normal rhythm game song list setup. The "Main" mode is good and all but the scoring system is stupid since you need to unequip everything thing from your characters to score well.

The Shrine is a total different story and your party setup makes a huge difference. Just a shame that only 20 songs are shuffled through in the dark notes which will make it get stale way sooner than it should. I just don't see why all the songs are not used for this? Was it really that important that the 2 digit movement number tell you which two songs were being used?

So I've been playing this for a couple days now.

Working a team of Terra, Zidane, Cecil, Tidus. Levels 26 - 28 Haven't used items/abilities at all so far (since i saw the score boost info). Just below 10,000 Rhythmia so far.

I've finished all basic courses in the normal mode, and am now unlocking the Expert courses through Challenge mode. I've also done about 5 Dark Notes.

One thing I don't understand at all is the feature drive. I am fairly consistently SS'ing courses (and have gotten a couple SSS) but I'm at a loss for how these things start. The instructions mention something about silver notes, but I never see them. What causes them?

I also wish there was an option to not have it show me my rank on each note... I get way too tense when I've seen a long string of Crits

The Drive feature only appears when you have any equipment or items on (basically you can't get SS or SSS ranks if you see it). With any equipment on you'll see silver notes during stages. On a field stage if you hit them all you'll turn into a chocobo for a short time which moves faster and covers more distance, on a battle stage you cast summon which replaces your four characters for a short time.

Ahh, ok... annoying that to get the best scores they force you to play in a way that keeps features away from you...

Yeah, It's actually real BS, and the biggest design flaw in the game. An extra 2,000,000 points just for no-equipment is silly, that's like 25% of the points earned from a perfect run most of the time.

The SSS scores drive me crazy because you have to get a Perfect chain with 100% critical hits. I equipped some stuff after a couple levels because it just seemed silly. Plus the biggest thing I didn't mention. The FMS stages cut off early. You need to go into drive in order to finish the song, so you've likely missed like 20 seconds from every FMS stage.
