    Default BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma

The official third title in the series just got announced. Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will continue the storyline, and has three new characters announced.

In order from left to right Amane, Bullet, and Azrael

Returning characters will have redrawn neutral poses, and brand new moves (such as a Tager body slam, and a new Bang giant nail move). There's also some changes such as Noel using a new weapon.

Feel free to watch the trailer below:

That's basically it for the new information right now. I'm sure we'll find out more about this soon. It looks like it'll hit arcades this year, and I assume consoles next year.

I'm totally excited for this. I'm no longer trying to be good at the game, but I'm still up for picking this up and playing against people.

Awesome! A new BlazBlue game! I was hoping that Kokonoe would be playable but 3 new characters is a good thing.

Time to post new information in this thread. So the first trailer for the game didn't shown them off, but it's confirmed that Mu-12 and Nu-13 are in the game. The game's opening sequence can be viewed where they're very slightly shown, and also slightly shows another new character (no it's not Kokonoe or Jubei). You can watch the game's opening here:

The game is also going to feature a new version of the beginner mode that the series has been using for people who just wanna have fun, and who can't do combos. They added a new mechanic for guard crushing. Now, if you push A+B during certain attacks you can do a guard crush if the opponent isn't using a barrier guard. It'll cost 25% gauge.

There's also the inclusion of a new system mechanic called the Overdrive system. Not to be confused with Guilty Gear's Overdrive attacks. This is actually going to be replacing the Gold Burst system already in the game. Now when you do a gold burst you'll instead get a character specific benefit. These are all game changer benefits such as faster charging character-specific gauges, increasing damage, forcing magnetism on Tager enemies, Hakumen can cancel D attacks into a special, etc.

That's all the new info I got right now.
