  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. Default Gran Turismo 5 + 3 TV's & 3D?

I'm curious if anyone here knows if you can run Gran Turismo 5's quasi-panoramic mode on 3 networked consoles, 3 HDTV's, and in 3D mode on each TV? My guess is no, but I'm seeing some conflicting reports online about this.

Are you in a position to pontentially try? I always thought it was cool that Forza allowed you to do this, but it really is much cheaper to something like this on the PC side of things with a beefy GPU, especially given that you need a copy of Forza and a 360 for each individual screen (I assume the same is for PS3) to experience this.

GT5 supports up to 5 displays, if you really want to go nuts:

3D shouldn't be a problem since each display is driven (pun intended) by its own PS3.

BUT depending on the 3D tech used there might be an issue looking around, especially switching view point from one display to the next. Some active 3D glasses need to sync with the viewed 3D TV and I'm not sure if it's seamless enough to quickly switch from display to display. Polarized 3D with passive glasses might work better for this. Now that I watched the youtube demo again: viewing angle, prolly another thing to consider. I'm just guessing though.

Let's just say I'm considering it... Maybe for a certain game show that happens every year in the Midwest. Hmm...

ChryZ, that's kinda my thought on the 3D too... Angle, syncing with multiple TVs/Systems seems problematic. I think you're right.

Still, I haven't been able to find anyone that can confirm this one way or another, yet. Any takers?

I don't know the answer to the question - I do wish, a great PC racing sim would hit the market, something as accessible as Forza/GT5. I would at least set up two monitors, one as a rear view or just a car diagnostic/similar to what you can view when watching a replay in GT5 or when you hit the D pad on Forza

I just can't enough of Forza to be honest...this game rarely leaves my Xbox...and if it does its usually only for a day.

There is quite a few excellent racing sims already on PC iracing and rFactor for instance. I'm not sure if you can turn on the assists or not though, because they tend to be very unforgiving. Really Forza and GT in no way compare to accidentally downshifting to far and breaking your transaxle. I would even say iRacing looks better than both.

But for accessibility I think every codemasters game is on PC and I know they support multimonitors out the gate for the most part.

But I assume the bigger problem would be of course having a decent rig with that a compatible eye infinity card.

It does sound like an excellent idea, because i would assume it would be easy to round up PS3's or 360's and a wheel for the show.
