So I forgot to include my Kickstarter stuff. Fixed now.
I went ahead and purchases all the remaining Disgaea 4 DLC I hadn't purchased yet. Why? Because I FINALLY BEAT THE GAME! Oh my god this took forever to do! So happy I can finally access all my DLC I purchased god knows how long ago! Such a bad decision to lock away DLC until beating this game. It's a 70+ hour lock! SUCH A STUPID DECISION!
Also, bought some Xbox cards so I can purchase some DLC and maybe some more games. I'm eyeing Spelunky....when it goes on sale.

Misternep: Senran Kagura is pretty great, isn't it?
Do you know if there's a lock-on / target button?

I'm actually surprised by how solid the game is. Considering the "assets" of the game I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
But yes the game has a lock on. You touch the character on-screen to lock on. I've actually learned some things after playing it for 2 hours straight.
I learned that when you launch someone you just push the dash button (circle) and you'll automatically chase after the enemy. Also, if you press circle when there's no enemies you'll start running. It's good for when you're traveling.
There's also a parry system. I've done it sometimes when blocking at the right time. Not sure if it's just pushing the block button, or if I needed to do something else. Still experimenting with that.
When you transform you can start using special skills (L+square or triangle). Each one is different and if any one of these is the finishing blow for a boss then it determines the "ending state" of the opponent.
COUGH. I also learned that the touch screen works during changing costumes, and in the shop. COUGH. Don't ask how I figured this out. COUGH.
Thanks!
That helps a lot.
It's been a bit of trial an error. I've just been making due without a lock on.
You can get ninja scrolls through defeating enemies (the yellow bar beneath your health, once it reaches full you receive a scroll), through breaking item containers in the arenas, or through defeating higher level enemies. Those big fire enemies, or the amazon looking sword women.
There's also a way to fully refill health and scrolls via attacks / combos. I've done this a few times in combat, you hear an audio cue and now you have full everything again.
The light ninja magic attack costs one scroll (removes underpants), the heavy one costs two scrolls (removes brassiere).
Up on the D-Pad is a taunt. I forget what the other three directions are exactly, but one is an area clearing attack.
The select button brings up your moves list without the need to go into the pause menu.
After a lot of trial and error I've figured some stuff out.
I just read they're releasing two DLC characters this month, in the meantime I need to unlock the fourth dojo. I'm assuming it can be unlocked and corresponds to five of the hidden trophies.
I'll see if I can figure out the parry mechanic tonight.
Yeah, the game is crazy good given my expectations going in. Then again Marvelous was only improving with each iteration of their Ikkitousen beat'em ups, so I was hoping for the best with this one and am pleased with the result.
Hopefully it will get localized. Even if they need to subsidize / pre-sell it via Kickstarter, I'm willing to chip in. The game is mint.

Yes, Mister_Nep. "One Piece: PW" has online.
I am a bit surprised you didn't noticed it until now.
I've recently played Senran Kagura on Vita (just got it in the mailbox today) and I just happen to tap anywhere on the screen and it locks-on into the nearest enemy. And when there's a boss and several enemies, tap on the screen and it locks on the boss immediately. Tap again on the screen or go far away from the locked on enemy/boss to remove the lock on.
So far for this game, I'm really enjoying it. Although I do have some slight problems when facing the boss, but that's just me trying to learn this game, anyways.
Double jump and dash away are big help.
You should be able to tell quickly in the battle if the boss recovers and retaliates or if they'll try to just get up from a knock down. If the R&R, then dash away so they don't get free hits.
Does anybody know what the third stat here is?
It never increases for me.
I'm wondering if it's the blocking, which I never use?![]()

That is the character's third element, Shadow element. Yeah, this has mostly holding the R-button. While doing that, have your fingers start close to each other in the middle and swipe outwards. It is pretty much the "automaticly rip your clothes off"-mode.
