Looks interesting, but I don't have the money to drop $25 for the game when it releases, and if I were to donate at all, it would be to get the game. Definitely looks awesome though, I'll have to pimp it on my twitter.

So sometimes there's some Kickstarter projects that you really like, and you want to push them a little by recommending it to people. That's basically what this thread is for. If you know of any Kickstarter project you want other people to know about then post them here.
I'll start with two different projects.
Anima - Gate of Memories
So this project is at the tail-end of the time limit. 46 hours left at the time of this post. Still needs a little bit of a push. It's an original action RPG that's being made for PC right now. They're actually looking into putting it on the Wii U afterwards, but PC is first priority.
This is the video they put on kickstarter:
The Red Queen of Oz: Two Fates
This is another project I want people to know about. This one has 12 days remaining at the time of post, and it has a huge amount of money remaining before it is funded. It's an adventure game that centers around the characters Dorothy (from Wizard of Oz) and Alice (from Alice in Wonderland).
It actually plays like a point and click adventure, but it has optional turn-based RPG gameplay if you want it to play like that as well. It's a really neat game that I hope somebody here ends up liking.
Those are the two projects I wanna bring awareness to right now. How about you guys?
Looks interesting, but I don't have the money to drop $25 for the game when it releases, and if I were to donate at all, it would be to get the game. Definitely looks awesome though, I'll have to pimp it on my twitter.

Anima looks interesting. It has been a while since I have backed any kickstarters. I just waiting to see if any of the projects I have backed get completed. But anima looks interesting enough I will throw a few dollars their way.
Only Kickstarter I backed so far is Obsidian's Project Eternity. I would love to back more awesome stuff, but at the moment(for the past 4 months) I have severely short on money. As much as I like my job I really need to get a job that gives me stable hours(the one I have now is a when I needed or when something breaks basis). Enough about that pity party, I wished I had found this thread sooner. That Anima game looks good, I would have backed it.
i would change the world but they wouldn't give me the source code
Movie magic is the best kind of magic.
I am that guy. The one you know exists, but never see. That guy that does more stuff behind the scenes than you can possibly imagine. The one that you only ever see out of the corner of your eye, but when you look to see who it is you don't see anyone. I AM THAT GUY!
I'm going to post a list of all the kickstarter campaigns I've backed so far. Some are well over, but others that are recently ended are still accepting backing for rewards through their paypal accounts.
At the least I thought it'd be cool to share these projects so people who would be interested could look out for them when they are released.
Anima - Gate of Memories
- Described well enough by Mister_Nep above, just a slick looking title. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-of-memories-0
Shadowgate
- I love shadowgate and this remake looks incredible. I backed it pretty heavily for a boxed copy of the game, and the card game that's being developed along side it. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zojoi/shadowgate
Service Games: The Rise and Fall of SEGA (Enhanced)
- Minimal backing just for a copy of the book. I love these history books and own a ton of Nintendo stuff, but nothing on Sega so while I thought the prices were high I decided to back anyway. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-sega-enhanced
An EPIC 5-disc FF6 Fan Album from OC ReMix... Take Two!
- I love FF music, and with the amount of backing this received it ends up being like 5 albums (many multi-disc) physical copies. It got shut down at first, but they worked out a deal with Square to repost the kickstarter. Like all OC Remix stuff the albums will be released for free as downloads later. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-remix-take-tw
CHEETAHMEN II : THE LOST LEVELS
- A contraversial one because of the price, but I'm moving towards collecting a full NES collection and likely will never find the original title (which sells for over 1,500 when it does show up on ebay), so I decided to go ahead with it. Already shipped, but I haven't gotten my copy yet. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...he-lost-levels
OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console
- I'm sure you've heard enough about this if you listen to any podcasts here. Will likely try to develop some games for it as well. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...o-game-console
Tropes vs. Women in Video Games
- A super controversial one for some good reasons (in how the money would be spent, especially with how much ended up being raised), and some very bad reasons (people who were sexist, incredibly rude, and lashed out against the creator), but I am genuinely interested in the content that will be created. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...in-video-games
Two Guys SpaceVenture - by the creators of Space Quest
- Space Quest wasn't one of my favorite adventure titles, but I put in minimun backing for a copy just to show support. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...s-of-space-que
Atari 2600 Star Castle
- Cartridge has already arrived, I love how this came together. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...00-star-castle
Jane Jensen's Moebius and Pinkerton Road Studio
- Anything to get us closer to another Gabriel Knight game. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-2012-2013-csg
Make Leisure Suit Larry come again!
- I loved these games before, probably some of the funniest games I remember playing, even up against LucasArts adventures. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...rry-come-again
Wasteland 2
- Again just minimal backing to support the developers, I am excited to see what they can do with this franchise because I loved the original when I was younger. Especially excited to see how it comes out in wake of the popularity of the Fallout series which it inspired. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2
Double Fine Adventure
- I have high hopes for this since we'll never see another LucasArts adventure and while Tell Tale does a good job, those titles don't quite live up to the quality of the originals. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...fine-adventure
There was an article on Retroids about this one. It only has 9 days to go. I'm making a push for this one, so if you want to see it funded, please spread the word!

PROJECT AWAKENED
This game looks awesome! I have a feeling they'll hit their goal of £500,000!
I have backed from with $20!
Here's the video that's on the main Kickstarter page: Back this and it could be a new game to play together on Retroids (I swear I don't work for them)
This just looks like every geeks fantasy... SUPER POWERES!!!!![]()
Cryamore
Here's a game that is already fully funded, but not all of their stretch goals are reached.
So this is a 2D game that is styled after many different old games. It has the isometric view of 2D Zelda, multiple power idea (and color scheme) of Megaman, and the clock system/comedic tones of Brave Fencer Musashi. Those seem to be the main influences in the game.
The ones running this kickstarter made a fancy video to promote the game, but well I wouldn't recommend watching the whole thing. The first 2 or 3 minutes say nothing about the game. Skip to the 5:10 mark if you want to skip the random banter.
If you're curious about the game's look, here's a screenshot
And if you're curious about the music here's the song for the midboss.
So the remaining stretch goals for the game are to get some indy developers put some minigames inside the game as a sort of arcade machine you can access within the game. And the biggest and final stretch goal is console support.
The indy game stretch goal seems to be a sure thing, but console support is still a ways away.
So you can support this game, and get all kinds of swag if you do. Stuff like physical versions of the game and soundtrack, a map of the game world, figurines, an artbook officially published by Udon Entertainment, and other stuff.
As of this post, the kickstarter has 8 days remaining before it ends. So I hope you consider pledging towards this game.
