Warhawk Wednesday – Retroids Game Night

Oh no! I'm going to have to sit this one out chaps; you can play without fear of being 'pwned' that night indeed.
I have an exam the next morning, and two the following week. If you were to put on another one May 16th (by which time Starhawk is out ) I could join and beat yo asses, but have fun nonetheless!

I'll snag the DLC I'm missing, but I do have one question... I turned off the Open Mic option, but I can't find "Push to Talk" or anything like it in any of the game options. Where it be?

I think 'push to talk' is the default opposite of 'open mic' - if you don;t have one, you definitely have the other.

What do I push in order to talk, assuming I have the options set correctly?

Push the left stick down. To talk, it is very natural after the first match. I still catch my self pushing the stick down every time I play a shooter

@Mike That is the beauty of this, it is the last hurrah of Warhawk. So all you need is Warhawk!

I'm still torn on the DLC though... Thought I snagged it when it was on sale through Plus, but I guess not. Would rather save the money for StarHawk, although it probably won't be a day-one purchase for me now. I'm a bit miffed about GameStop being the only retailer with the Limited Edition. May just wait a few weeks and see if it pops elsewhere after release. Regardless, I'll be there Wednesday for the first half.

Marking my calendar. I do have all the DLC, but I have no problem with sticking with stock maps. Would love some northern bridge cap the flag.

Yeah, I would not bother with buying the DLC, it is not worth it for one night. Which map packs do you have? I can start with those in the 2nd half.

Sirius, I'm pretty sure I have none of them. All previous statements were based on the assumption that I'd snagged the Plus bundle, but I must have been out of town and missed it or smthng. No biggie, don't change the plan on my account. I'm cool with hanging out for just the first half. I really do suck, so I'll probably just be helping others to improve their kill ratio.
