The latest Nintendo Direct presentation by Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata gave a glimpse into the future of Wii U and 3DS as he revealed what will be available soon for both systems.

Most notably, Little Mac of Punch-Out fame will be a playable character in the newest Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Yoshi's New Island revitalizes the series with a more traditional 3D look instead of the typical crayon-like drawings in previous iterations, the 3DS gets the latest Prof. Layton game with Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy and Shovel Knight—the popular Kickstarter 2D platformer and a bunch of other great indie titles will be released on the eShop. Also, Child of Light looks beautiful, long running franchises continue with Monster Hunter 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart 8, and the newly popular NES Remix gets a sequel with NES Remix 2. This spring, we'll finally be getting Game Boy Advance games on the Wii U Virtual Console, and to round it out, they showed some awesome footage of the highly anticipated Bayonetta 2, but still no actual release date except some time this year.

Check these out for yourself in the recap video below:

That was a pretty awesome Direct. I recommend that 3DS owners download the free version of Steel Diver: Sub Wars. It's weird, but it's pretty fun. Live morse code chat is probably the most clever idea that hasn't been used before.

Now, I've been fortunate to get my mitts on a high quality, 60 fps Japanese trailer of Bayonetta 2. Direct feed, and stunning. I've hidden it as an easter egg on the Gaming World Wide site.
Perhaps some clues to give you a hand... it will be invisible at first, but if you hold on, you will see. www.gwwentertainment.com

Here are some details on Nintendo's website about NES Remix 2:

So, Championship Mode will end up being a 1990 NWC-inspired collaboration of 3 timed games. That is friggin' cool right there. :)

That is really exciting. Really looking forward to it... and finally getting the first as well!

So, that Bayonetta 2 trailer. Here you are- make sure you download the video. Web players can't handle the buttery smoothness, and oh so crispy resolution. Enjoy! http://www.gwwentertainment.com/bayonetta2preview
